Old Colwyn Golf Club Takes the Spotlight on Popular YouTube Channel

Old Colwyn Golf Club recently welcomed a very special guest to its fairways, as popular YouTube creator James from the channel ‘Not A Perfect Golfer’ stopped by to film his first round back in the UK.

Boasting a dedicated following of over 16,400 subscribers, the channel is known for its honest, relatable, and engaging golf content. James, who currently plays off a 12-handicap, chose the historic James Braid-designed 9-hole course at Old Colwyn as the perfect proving ground to test out his brand-new swing.

The Challenge: Can He Break 90?

In a video that has been drawing attention from golf enthusiasts online, James documented every single shot of his round. The picturesque North Wales course provided a stunning backdrop, but it also offered plenty of challenges for the returning golfer.

The central question keeping viewers hooked throughout the episode: Did the undulating fairways and fast greens get the better of him, or did he manage to break 90? A Brilliant Showcase for the Club

The resulting video is not only a highly entertaining watch but also a fantastic showcase of the course’s beautiful layout and welcoming atmosphere. Club officials were absolutely thrilled to host the content creator, expressing their gratitude and noting that he is “welcome back anytime.”

Whether you are a local member wanting to see your home club on the screen, or a golf fan looking for an honest, shot-by-shot vlog, it is well worth the watch.
